Went down to Cathay’s new branch at Marina Square. Was actually hoping to find two cameras … a beginner model for Phyllis’ parents before they go off for their Shanghai trip next week and a compact model with 6x or more optical zoom.
Did see the LZ1 with 6x, but found it too bulky. The new LX1s is beautiful, but can’t figure out why will I need 8.4 mega pixel. After going through like every possible Panasonic model, I knew I can’t get away from the FX9, its such a beauty. Lightweight, compact and most generic valtrex without prescription importantly the 2.5″ LCD. In the end, I did not buy one … but two of it. The super large LCD is perfect for old folks 🙂 and it just makes you wanna take pictures.
The very friendly salesman cut me a good deal, and also offered me the Canon Selphy CP400 printer at the promotional package price meant for Canon cameras. How nice.
FX9 @ $680 each
Selphy CP400 @ $169
Extra Photo Paper @ $32
2 x Original FX9 pouch
2 x 256MB SD
1 x Canon Bag for the printer
