Learnt a couple of neat tricks at the training today. Kinda noticed that my site is so well indexed by search engines that it might be getting a little too easy for someone to find my site. With all precaution in mind, I have removed any posting that involves bitching about my job. So, if you want to hear my bitch about my work, ask me.
Spent quite some time thinking about this. If it’s like how we always sees it in the movies, the hitman will usually demand half the payment upfront. In that case, assuming all hitman charges the same rate, ultimately you will have to pay each hitman half of what you promised. Unless part of the job involves getting the new hitman to retrieve the money from the previous hitman, then possibily the initial half of the fees can keep the entire cycle going on indefinitely. cool!
It’s funny now that I’m no longer my own boss, I finally realised how much better a boss I was then the one I’m having now. At the least, I helped my guys solved problems. I be there when I said I will be. And when I said that I trust you to do your job, I meant it.
So day after day I hear that we are the specialist in our own field so we should tell him what to do. But too often our opinions are the least important becos he’s already got a decision in mind. Apologies again and again for not being able to complete what he promised to do, yet, he is trying to control more and dictate more.
Went to Little India last nite for the Deepavali night market. Really nice sea of colours.
Boss couldn’t enter the shopping mall because of NoDog..so Boss walking around parking..
Went by Zen @ Discovery Centre. Was told that this Japanese restaurant is popular among Singaporeans. Din really expect much especially after the last experience at Fuji.
Well, it turned out not too bad. The mackeral sushi tasted quite good, only problem is that they kinda made it using hot rice, so the whole thing felt rather weird. Dun quite know how to describe, it somehow felt very Chinese food.
